Giraffe.
Tha Graffe IS The tallest animal in the animal kingdom. It is a also the
only animal that is incapable of making any sound both the male and female have a
small set of hornf on their heads. The giraffe’spreferred habitat is among tall trees
on the open savann ahs.
When the giraffe needs to drink water its long neck is
a hindrance. To overcome this the giraffe stands at the water’s edge with its legs set
wide apart and bends over to drink.
Giraffes used to livs in herds but because of the
destruction of their nutural habitat .They have got used to leading solitary lives.
Giraffes produce one calf at a time. These animals can run as fast as 30 km per hour.

Originating from Punagala oya,Diyaluma falls is Sri lanka’s
Second highest waterfall with a height of 220 metres. It is viewed
from the Kslanda-Wellawaya road.Because of the astounding force
and speed with which it cascades from its great height, travelers on the koslanda-wellwaya road can expect to be soaked by the vapore
and mist of this waterfall.
Diyaluma fall is named for the immense speed at which it descends. As Mr.Brohier the famous surveyor,
records the word Diyaluma originated as diya Haluwa[Water fell]
but,eventually became a single word-Diyaluma.
